What to expect as a patient at Complete Health Australia

At CHA, we combine a wide range of medical, surgical and allied health specialities, to provide an in-house multidisciplinary health care experience.

Who we are

We understand that seeing a specialist or allied health professional can feel overwhelming at times. At Complete Health Australia, you’re treated as an individual, not a number. Our team works closely with you to make your care as clear, supportive and seamless as possible from your first enquiry through to ongoing management.

Our clinics bring together experienced specialists, allied health professionals and modern facilities, allowing coordinated care in a welcoming and professional environment.

Making an appointment with us

To access specialist medical or surgical services at Complete Health Australia, you’ll usually need a referral from your GP or another medical specialist. Allied health consultations do not require a referral.

Once you have a referral, it can be sent to us by:

If you live close to one of our clinics, you’re also welcome to drop the referral off in person.

If your referral is marked as urgent, please ensure this is clearly stated so our team can prioritise your appointment appropriately.

Patient registration

To help your appointment run smoothly, we ask new patients to complete our patient registration form before attending their first consultation. This allows your specialist to review your details in advance and reduces waiting time on the day.

1. Your first appointment

Your initial appointment is often longer than follow-up visits. This gives your specialist time to understand your concerns fully, review your medical history and, where appropriate, perform a physical examination.

Please bring any relevant medical information with you, including test results, scan reports, referral letters and medication lists. Even information that may not seem directly related can help build an accurate overall picture of your health.

2. Preparing for your consultation

It is common for a lot of information to be discussed during a specialist appointment. To help you get the most from your consultation, we encourage you to write down any questions or concerns beforehand.

You’re welcome to bring a family member or friend with you if you feel this would be helpful. Our clinicians are happy to explain information clearly and answer questions so you feel informed and confident about your care.
