About Andrea Tyler

Andrea Tyler is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with extensive experience supporting patients to improve their health through targeted, evidence‑based exercise interventions. She has been practicing as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist since 2011 and became a Credentialed Diabetes Educator in 2017, allowing her to provide integrated care for individuals managing chronic disease.

Andrea graduated from Australian Catholic University with a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology and from the University of Technology Sydney with a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and Management. Her combined expertise enables her to help patients achieve practical and sustainable lifestyle changes that support long‑term health outcomes.

Andrea has a strong passion for using exercise as a therapeutic tool in both the prevention and management of chronic disease. Her clinical experience spans weight management, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

In addition to private practice, Andrea works within the public health system providing acute care to patients with cardiovascular disease and heart failure, including individuals preparing for or recovering from heart transplantation.

Andrea is also actively involved in education as a sessional lecturer at Australian Catholic University, where she teaches students enrolled in the Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology.
