About Dr Rabbia Haider
Dr Rabbia Haider is a consultant endocrinologist at Blacktown Hospital and provides specialist endocrine consultations at Complete Health Australia’s Norwest and Rouse Hill clinics. She is passionate about all areas of endocrinology, with a special interest in the management of gestational diabetes, pre-gestational diabetes in pregnancy, thyroid disorders, weight management and PCOS.
Dr Haider completed her endocrinology training at Westmead Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital and Nepean Hospital. She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2021.
She has also completed a Master of Philosophy (Medicine) at the University of Sydney, focusing on the impact of telemedicine on improving outcomes for people with Type 2 diabetes mellitus. Dr Haider is a recipient of the Jerry Koutts Foundation Scholarship, as well as the Academic Excellence Scholarship in Western Sydney University.
She has multiple publications, primarily in the use of technology in Type 2 diabetes and the management of diabetes in pregnancy. Dr Haider is also actively involved in teaching through the University of Sydney Medical School, as well as teaching international medical graduates, junior medical officers and advanced trainees.
She is fluent in English, Urdu and Hindi, enabling clear communication with patients from diverse backgrounds.
