About Dr Shaun Khanna
Dr Shaun Khanna is a consultant cardiologist with a passion for multi-modal non-invasive cardiology. His practice focuses on the early detection of cardiovascular disease, risk stratification and comprehensive assessment through advanced imaging.
He completed his medical degree at Bond University in 2016, followed by an internship at Blacktown Hospital and basic physician training at St Vincent’s Hospital. During this time, he also obtained a Master of Medicine from the University of Sydney.
After completing the Royal Australasian College of Physicians examinations, Dr Khanna undertook advanced cardiology training at Blacktown Hospital. He has been actively involved in clinical research and cardiac education throughout his career, holding conjoint teaching roles with the University of New South Wales and Western Sydney University.
Dr Khanna is currently completing his PhD through the University of New South Wales in collaboration with The George Institute for Global Health, focusing on cardiovascular disease prevention and imaging-based diagnostics.
He is a member of several professional bodies, including the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand, the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association and the American Society of Echocardiography.
