About Dr Siddharth Trivedi

Dr Siddharth Trivedi is a consultant cardiologist and advanced multi-modality cardiovascular imaging specialist. His prestigious two year fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, enabled him to gain cutting edge knowledge and Level 3 accreditation in the fields of Cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI, and advanced echocardiography. Dr Trivedi is highly active within the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT), Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR) and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC), playing an ongoing educational and mentoring role as well as being part of the International Faculty during the societies’ annual scientific meetings.

Prior to his fellowship, Dr Trivedi completed a PhD at the University of Sydney, where his research focused on the clinical use of advanced echocardiography techniques. He has published extensively in multiple peer-reviewed leading medical journals and has received national and international awards recognising his work in cardiac imaging. He is an inspirational teacher, and is currently a Clinical Senior Lecturer at Macquarie University and Cardiology JMO Supervisor at Macquarie University Hospital. He continues his passion for research, being a sub-investigator for multiple clinical trials in cardiology at Macquarie University Hospital.

Dr Trivedi undertook his general medicine and cardiology training at Westmead Hospital and holds Fellowships with both the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. He is fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati and is committed to providing clear, compassionate care for all patients.
