About Dr Sumreen Nawaz
Dr Sumreen Nawaz is committed to delivering thorough, patient-focused care. She completed her Basic Physician Training at Westmead Hospital, followed by Advanced Training in both Cardiology and General Medicine at Blacktown Hospital.
With over a decade of experience across tertiary and metropolitan hospitals in NSW, she brings strong clinical acumen, adaptability and meticulous attention to detail. Her dual training allows her to support patients with both cardiac and complex general medical conditions, ensuring seamless, whole-patient care.
She has a particular interest in preventive cardiology, helping patients understand and reduce their long-term cardiovascular risk. She also manages ischaemic heart disease, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, heart failure and chronic disease management.
Fluent in Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi, Dr Nawaz ensures clear, comfortable communication for patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. She is known for her thoughtful, holistic approach and her commitment to long-term patient wellbeing.
