About Dr Trupti Kanade
Dr Trupti Kanade is an experienced gynaecologist and advanced laparoscopic surgeon with specialist qualifications across two continents. She completed her medical training at King Edward Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, where she began her career in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She later trained under pioneers of robotic surgery in India, as well as leading gynaecological surgeons in Australia, shaping her expertise in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery.
Dr Kanade has worked for more than a decade in Western Sydney and is a permanent consultant O&G specialist at Nepean Hospital, Penrith since last 10 years. She is deeply committed to medical education and serves as the Director of Education and Training for IMG Junior Medical Officers at Nepean Hospital, mentoring and teaching trainees in clinical practice. Her guiding philosophy is reflected in her motto: ‘We rise by lifting others.’
Dr Kanade’s practice includes the management of menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), adolescent gynaecology and menopause care. She does colposcopy in rooms and is committed to the Australian Cervical Cancer Prevention screening program. She also provides fertility assessment, prenatal screening, support for early pregnancy loss, and pregnancy care up to 20 weeks’ gestation.
Her surgical expertise includes advanced laparoscopic and open gynaecological procedures such as hysterectomy, fibroid removal, ovarian and tubal surgeries and fertility-related surgery. She offers evidence-based, holistic and compassionate care to women at every stage of life.
