About Timmy Chu

Timmy Chu has been an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) since 2008 after graduating with Honours from the University of Sydney. He has extensive experience supporting patients across a broad range of nutrition areas including obesity, cardiovascular health, gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), sports nutrition, and the management of vitamin and mineral deficiencies.

Timmy is part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team dedicated to helping patients meet their nutrition needs before and after medical procedures. He works closely with patients to ensure they understand how to nourish their body, recover well and establish sustainable eating habits that support long-term health.

He has particular expertise in weight loss and bariatric surgery nutrition. Working alongside surgeons, physicians and other allied health professionals, Timmy supports patients throughout their weight loss journey to ensure they achieve the best possible outcomes for their health and wellbeing.

Weight loss surgery can be a powerful tool for improving health, and with Timmy’s clear guidance and practical approach to nutrition, patients gain the confidence to eat well and support their body throughout the process. He focuses on helping individuals find the right balance between weight loss and proper nutrition so they can fuel their body, feel well and maintain lasting results.
