Dr. Joseph Chiha

Biography

Dr. Joseph Chiha spent two years undertaking a fellowship in interventional cardiology at the world renowned Peter Munk Cardiac Centre in Toronto, Canada, in association with the Toronto General Hospital and the University of Toronto. This is a world leader in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease. Joseph returned to Sydney, bringing his experience and motivation to Bankstown Hospital and his clinics. He performs primary interventions (for heart attack) through Bankstown and Liverpool Hospitals, with private procedures at Macquarie University Hospital.  He is affiliated with University of New South Wales.

Joseph is also a consultant cardiologist for Douglass Hanly Moir Cardiac Services, responsible for the interpretation and reporting of 24 hour ambulatory blood pressure monitors, electrocardiograms and Holter monitors.
