Growing up in a family of strong feminists, Dr Trupti Kanade was brought up with core values of hard work, compassion and dedication. She believes that women play a crucial role in family, community and society at large. Hence her aim has always been to support, encourage and help women. Her mother is her idol and she was brought up with a mindset of challenging traditional values while maintaining nurturing capabilities.
Dr Trupti Kanade has more than 15 years of experience being an obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She has specialist qualification in two continents and has trained in multiple busy and tertiary hospitals in Australia. She completed her medical training in King Edward Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and decided to pursue a career as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She has worked under pioneers of Robotic surgery in India and leading Gynaecological surgeons in India and Australia to become a minimally invasive gynaecologist she is today.
She has worked for more than a decade in Western Sydney and is currently a permanent consultant OBGY in Nepean Hospital, Penrith. She has been a mentor and teacher for many trainees and is the Director of Education and Training for IMG Junior Medical Officers in Nepean. Her moto is “We rise by Lifting others”.
