Dr Rabbia Haider is a consultant endocrinologist at Blacktown Hospital. She provides consultative services at CHA in Norwest and Rouse Hill. She is passionate about all fields within endocrinology, with a special interest in management of gestational and pre-gestational diabetes in pregnancy. She is dedicated to providing evidence-based medicine in a holistic and comprehensive manner, as well as working closely with GPs to ensure the best outcome possible for all her patients.
She also enjoys teaching and research. She has multiple publications, primarily in the use of technology in T2DM and the area of diabetes in pregnancy. She has been actively involved in teaching with the University of Sydney Medical School. Dr Haider is fluent in English, Urdu and Hindi. Dr Haider is available for consultation at the Rouse Hill and Norwest clinics.
Dr Haider completed her endocrinology training at Westmead, Prince of Wales and Nepean Hospitals. She obtained the fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2021. She has also completed Masters of Philosophy (Medicine) from the University of Sydney, examining the impact of telemedicine in improving outcomes for people with Type 2 diabetes mellitus. She is a recipient of the Jerry Koutts Foundation Scholarship.
